Construction of the new Municipal Court Facility to cost 2.8 Million EUR

Municipal Court Tuzla bportal.baVice-President of The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of B&H (VSTV BiH) Ružica Jukić and the Director of the Secretariat of VSTV BiH Admir SUljagić talked with the Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton Bego Gutić and the President of the Municipal Court in Tuzla Muhamed Tulumović about the construction of the new facility of Municipal Court in Tuzla.

The new court facility should be built at the site of the current facility of the House of Armed Forces, thus providing a long-term solution for spatial needs of the court and that is one of more significant objectives of VSTV BiH with the aim of improving efficiency of courts.

Estimated costs of the facility construction amount to around 2.8 million EUR, and the main financer should be the EU Delegation through IPA funds.

Government of Sweden and Government of Norway are supporting this project through the Project of improving efficiency of judiciary by financing the preparation of project documentation.

Government of the Tuzla Canton expressed readiness to support the implementation of this project. Furthermore, in the draft budget for 2016 the Government will plan funds which will be invested in the field of judiciary, stated the VSTV BiH.
