school in nepalWorks on the construction of a school in Nepal, in region of Kathmandu, which was built as an aid of our country after the devastating earthquake which has caused great damage to that country, are finished. The school was built by the Council of Ministers of BiH, which donated 100,000 BAM for this purpose. The works are completed within the agreed period, and the students should start using new premises very soon.

The construction of the school was managed by the Embassy of BiH in New Delhi and non-resident Ambassador of BiH in Nepal Sabit Subasic, with the support of the Director of the Shanker group, Shahil Agarwal, who was recently appointed by the Presidency of BiH to be the Honorary Consul of BiH in Nepal.

Non-resident Ambassador of BiH in Nepal Subasic said that the foundation stone for the school was formally laid on the 7th of September 2015 in the area of Kathmandu, which suffered a great destruction.

The Council of Ministers of BiH insisted that BiH builds “its own facility” in Kathmandu, which proved to be a very good move. Along with the humanitarian aspect, the newly built school will have great symbolic importance in connecting distant, but close people to BiH and this Himalayan state.

Official opening of the school will take place very soon, and it is planned to open at the same time, after all the necessary procedures are completed, the Honorary Consulate of BiH in Kathmandu, which will be managed by a prominent businessman Shahil Agarwal.

Thus, BiH will get important “institution” which will serve to satisfy the interests of our country in this distant country, as announced from the Office of Public Relations MFA BiH.
