Representatives of the Montenegro Stock Exchange and the Sarajevo Stock Exchange today officially signed an agreement on business and technical cooperation at a joint online conference.

Based on this cooperation, the Sarajevo Stock Exchange will provide maintenance and development of the electronic trading system to the Montenegro Stock Exchange in the coming period and continue the development cycle through new projects and modernization of electronic platforms and services.

The director of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, Milena Vucinic, points out that the goal of the cooperation is to create synergies so that they are ready for the time to come, i.e. for new models of operation, imposed by the changes in the financial sector globally and locally.

The Sarajevo Stock Exchange director, Tarik Kurbegovic, pointed out that the initiative on this type of cooperation originated at the end of 2020, and in the past, preparations and preconditions have been made so that the cooperation could begin in full capacity.

It is important to note that the shareholder of both stock exchanges is Borsa Istanbul, which further strategically strengthens this cooperation with support and experience in all future projects and international cooperation.
