Consumer Basket higher by more than 50 BAM than previous Month!

The consumer basket, calculated by the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the month of June 2019, amounts to 2,094,16 BAM and for 54,30 BAM it is expensive than the consumer basket for the previous month.

The average salary paid in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the month of April 2019 was 926 BAM (the latest data published by the Federal Bureau of Statistics) and by 10 BAM is higher than the average paid in March 2019.

The syndicated consumer basket coverage by average pay is 44.2%.

The average wage paid in the Federation of BiH was taken into account when making the Trade Union Baskets, and the minimum costs of living a four-membered family comprised of two adults and two children, of which one is in secondary school and the second in the age of the parent, is Zenicainfo reports.

The consumer basket itself consists of the following categories (besides the name is the percentage of individual category participation in the syndicated consumer basket): Meals – 42.8%, housing and communal services – 14.8%, hygiene and health care – 5.6%, education and culture – 8.6%, clothes and footwear – 14.3%, transportation – 6.6% and household maintenance – 7.16%

In the category of food, prices from 3 shopping malls for 83 items were used. When it comes to hygiene and health maintenance, costs for eight (8) items are counted, while housing and utility costs for six (6) items, Biznis Info reports.
