Consumer Prices in almost all Segments increased in Bosnia-Herzegovina

Consumer prices in Bosnia-Herzegovina continued to increase in November this year compared to the previous period. The prices of goods and services used for personal consumption in Bosnia-Herzegovina, measured by the Consumer Price Index, in November 2019 compared to the previous month, increased on average by 0.1 percent, according to data from BiH’s Statistics Agency.

When it comes to section by purpose of consumption in November 2019, as compared to the previous month, on average, prices of clothing and footwear increased by 1.1 percent, prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other energy products increased by 0.2 percent , while prices in communications increased 0.3 percent.

Compared to the same month of 2018, prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 1.3 percent, prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco increased by 6.0 percent, housing and utilities prices by 1.0 percent, and healthcare by 0.6 percent .
