In the continuation of the trial of Fahrudin Radončić and the others, prosecution witness said that the Director General of the company “Farmavita” Sabahudin Žujo requested from him to connect him with the witness Azra Sarić.
Aziz Šukalo, Marketing Director in the pharmaceutical company “Farmavita”, said that Azra Sarić works in his department as an expert associate and that in mid-December last year his superior, Žujo, called him and asked for Sarić.
“You can tell her to call me”, the witness remembered Žujo’s request.
Šukalo added that Sarić then asked for Žujo’s cellphone number and called him. After the conversation, she notified him that it was nothing related to business and that she should go to his office the next day.
Witness Šukalo added that he found out from the media that Sarić is doing specialization in the Koševo hospital.
Žujo witnessed in favor of the national Prosecution last year, saying that the accused Bakir Dautbašić asked him to ask Sarić to confirm the previous statements regarding the murder of Ramiz Delalić when she is called as a witness in the process against Naser Kelmendi in Kosovo. Sarić was Delalić’s girlfriend at the time when he was murdered in Sarajevo in 2007.
Dautbašić was accused together with Radončić, Bilsena Šahman and Zijad Hadžijahić for obstruction of justice and giving and receiving benefits for trade of influence. According to the indictment, Radončić ordered the execution of pressure on the witness Sarić to falsely testify in the process against Kelmendi, while the executors were Šahman and Sautbašić.
Tarik Mašić, Head of Department of Maxillofacial Surgery in the Koševo hospital, said that SArić was doing specialization in his department and that in mid-December last year she was doing a night shift when the patient Sabahudin Hukara asked for help. He died later.
The witness said that Sarić was on duty with Dr. Edin Imamović, who referred the patient Hukara to other departments.
The Prosecution claims that Radončić executed pressure on the witness Sarić regarding this case through the daily newspaper Dnevni Avaz.
Witness Mašić said that no media sent a report related to this case.
Furthermore, Mašić added that he knows well the accused Šahman and that she never contacted him regarding Sarić and the death of Hukara.
The trial continues on May 18, when Azra Sarić is expected to testify in favor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
