Contract of “Alumina” and “Banovići” Worth 19.2 Million BAM

alumina_zvornikThe President of the managing board of Zvornik company “Alumina” Mile Matić and general director of coal mine “Banovići” Munever Čergić signed today in Zvornik a contract for the delivery of more than 160.000 tons of coal for “Alumina” in 2014, with a value of 19.2 million BAM.

It is expected that the value of business cooperation of these two companies in 2014 would exceed the amount of 20 million BAM, announced “Alumina”.

“During last year Banovići delivered to Alumina more than 100.000 tons, so in 2014 we have a significant increase of the amount of coal for our partner in Zvornik”, said Čergić.

The president of “Alumina” managing board Mile Matić pointed out that the Zvornik company has signed an important contract in terms of energy security for factory operation.

“With this contract, we ensure to fulfill all the plans which we have for 2014”, stressed Matić and added that the production trend is increasing constantly.

The Associate Director for technical and commercial operations and commercial director of “Alumina” Miodrag Spasojević and Biljana Eskić, as well as the executive director for investment of the coal mine”Banovići” Nenad Todorović attended the signing of the contract.
