Cooperation between the parliaments of the Republic of Srpska and Serbia so far has been extremely good and conducted in accordance with the Agreement on Special Relations
Serbian Assembly Speaker Nebojša Stefanović says cooperation between the Republic of Srpska and Serbia in the near future must be more intensive and that Serbia is ready for a new phase of communications with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Serbia has special relations and the Agreement on Special and Parallel Relations with the Republikc of Srpska and that shouldn’t bother anyone, because Serbia is ready for a new phase of communications with Bosnia and Herzegovina too,” Stefanović stated in an interview with Srna.
There are many unresolved issued which need to be addressed urgently, Stefanović notes and adds that “the past is history, but you can’t live on it, and that’s why everybody should turn to the future and prosperity.”
Stefanović added “Both sides must extend a hand of friendship in a more meaningful manner. It should be taken into account that the citizens of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have better relations than their politicians do.”
