corridor-5cThe construction of roadside service facilities at a rest area Lepenica, section Sarajevo West – Tarcin, in order to ensure full comfort to passengers, has started, as announced from the Highways of FBiH.

“These two new facilities on the motorway A1 mean safer and more comfortable ride for drivers, a nice break, but also introduction to tourist attractions and ambient environments,” said Djenan Salcin, the Director of PC Highways of FBiH.

“Gas stations at a rest area Lepenica represent the second phase of our cooperation with the PC Highways of FBiH on the construction of facilities along the Corridor 5C. A total of 21 companies will be engaged on the entire project, of which 17 are from BiH. During the construction, about 140 people will be engaged on the project. The completion of works is expected in early 2017, when we will present new INA gas stations to the public,” said Ante Aralica, director of Holdina Sarajevo.

Investment of 4.5 million BAM will ensure construction of facilities in accordance with the highest European standards for facilities of similar purposes, where the drivers will be offered with a rich selection of products as well as pleasant place to rest. Services will be offered for 24 hours a day.

PE Highways of FBiH will invest income from fees for the use of road land in the further construction of the Corridor 5C.
