Sports Ground for People with Disabilities opened in Tuzla

[wzslider autoplay=”true”] On the occasion of “National Championship of the Special Olympics of BiH in basketball” within the Institute for raising and education of persons with problems in psychological and physical development was opened sports ground which was donated to the center by members of BH national football team, Asmir Begovic and Elvir Rahimic.

The official ceremony of the championship was attended by a delegation of Tuzla Canton, led by Prime Minister Bego Gutic. On yesterday’s championship was registered around 15 teams from BiH and one team from Slovenia.

“This sports terrain, as well as a manifestation, will contribute to your quality development and inclusion in regular society, besides a lot of smiles on your faces. Also, I want to express gratitude to the Club of special sports Tuzla for organizing this sports event for so many years. Government of Tuzla Canton regularly finances the work of the Institute for raising and education of persons with the problems in psychological and physical development, and this is our small contribution to your better tomorrow. There are also a number of other forms of assistance and support that we provide,” said Prime Minister Gutic, and added that attending this event means giving support to all persons with special needs.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Gutic handed two modest gifts to delegates of Asmir Begovic and Elvir Rahimic, with dedication that this modest gift with BH motif remind them of human work that they did and that brought a smile to many children’s faces.

Besides Prime Minister Gutic, on behalf of the Government of TC the event was also attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zlatan Muratovic, Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and Return, Danijela Simic and Minister of Health of TC, Bahrudin Hadziefendic.
