The BiH Council of Ministers approved the Proposal for an International Agreement between the European Union (EU), on the one hand, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the other, on the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the EU’s Single Market Program.

In April last year, the Council of the EU and the European Parliament adopted the EU Single Market Program for the period 2021 – 2027, worth a total of around 4.2 billion euros.

The main objectives of this program are: increasing the efficiency of the single market; support for companies, especially small and medium-sized ones; development of high-quality European standards; strengthening and protecting consumers; improving human, animal and plant health and animal welfare, as well as establishing a framework for financing high-quality statistics.

For seven years of participation in this program, Bosnia and Herzegovina will secure 607,922.00 euros based on the entry ticket, with the fact that the contributions will be paid on an annual basis, with the possibility of securing part of the money from IPA funds.
