Council of Ministers Chairman to attend Belgrade Summit without Consent

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegeltija, will attend the “Open Balkans” Summit in Belgrade on Friday. Nothing would have been disputed if Tegeltija had previously informed and received the consent of the BiH Presidency to participate in this gathering.

The summit is being held in the Palace of Serbia, it was announced from the office of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In order for Tegeltija to regularly attend this and any other summit outside the borders of our country, it is necessary to give the green light to the collective head of state, i.e. Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The same case happened at the beginning of last month when Tegeltija, in his role as chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, traveled to Ohrid for an international conference on the Western Balkans.

At the recently held session of the BiH Presidency, the “Open Balkans” project once again did not receive the necessary support. Dzaferovic and Komsic were against it, while Dodik is persistently pushing the initiative of joining the project whose biggest advocate is the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

In addition to disobeying BiH institution, this example continues the two-faced policy and rhetoric of the officials of Dodik’s SNSD. They already standardly criticize the participation of the other two members of the Presidency of BiH, Sefik Dzaferovic and Zeljko Komsic, in international conferences and gatherings, claiming that they do not have the permission of the Presidency of BiH, specifically the third member Milorad Dodik.

However, when the SNSD members need to go on a trip, they are very silent.
