Council of Ministers on Amendments to the Communications Law

The Council of Ministers of BiH is scheduled to consider the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Communications, as well as the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Basics of Road Traffic Safety in BiH, proposed for the agenda by the Ministry of Communications and Transport.

The proposed agenda also includes the Draft Law on Units of Measurement in BiH, proposed by the Institute of Metrology.

The ministers should also have before them a proposal for the appointment of a deputy of the Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) BiH, the Council of Ministers announced.

At the proposal of the Ministry of Security, the ministers should also consider the Proposal for the Integrated Border Management Strategy and the Action Plan for the Implementation of this Strategy for the Period from 2025 to 2029, as well as information on the situation in the field of migration for the first three months of this year.

At the proposal of the same ministry, the ministers should also have before them a proposal for a decision on requesting international assistance for protection and rescue in extinguishing fires.

The proposed agenda should also include the Mine Action Plan for BiH for 2025 and 2026, as well as the demining plan for this year.

The ministers should also give their opinions on several legislative proposals proposed by members of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The session is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the BiH Institutions Building in Sarajevo.
