The Registrar for the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Emira Hodžić, on Friday held a presentation at the School of Law, University of Sarajevo, on the topic of “Organization of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a Particular View on the Operation of the Criminal Division.”

Last June, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the School of Law, University of Sarajevo, signed an Agreement on Scientific, Educational and Professional Cooperation. The Agreement covers several aspects of cooperation, namely 1. Lectures and Presentations, 2. Students, 3. Professional Gatherings and 4. Research. According to the Agreement, the Court and the School of Law have defined the first quarterly Calendar of Activities, which specified the steps to be taken for the development of a higher degree of cooperation between the two judicial and educational institutions

Mrs. Hodžić held a presentation for the junior year students at the collegium of criminal procedural law. This is the second such presentation held in the framework of implementation of this segment of the Cooperation Agreement, which will include a series of lectures and presentations by representatives of the Court and the School of Law, concerning selected topics of significance for both theory and practice. The purpose of this type of cooperation is to improve expertise and exchange mutual experiences.

The Court and the School of Law will continue to carry out activities in line with the agreed plan, about which the public will be duly informed.
