On August 4, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment in the Nedžad Ćehić case, which accuses him of having committed the criminal offense of war crimes against prisoners of war by the actions described in the indictment.
Accused Ćehić is accused of being a member of the military police platoon of the 511th Glorious Mountain Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the armed conflict between the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Army of the Republika Srpska, in the area of the municipality of Bosanska Krupa. during the ARBiH attack on VRS positions in the area of Kobiljnjak, Osmača and Ćojluk, municipality of Bosanska Krupa, from the second half of May 1995 to the middle of July 1995, together with other members of the ARBiH, he captured at least twenty-five members of the VRS in the mentioned localities.
Immediately after being captured and incapacitated for combat, four members of the VRS were killed by the use of firearms, while the remaining at least twenty-one prisoners of war members of the VRS were taken away, imprisoned and held in military custody of the 511th Glorious Mountain Brigade of the ARBiH.
From there, as stated, on three occasions in the summer of 1995, they were taken out in groups and deprived of their lives at three locations in the Bosanska Krupa municipality, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
