The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina declared the officers of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milan Škoro and Ivo Filipović, guilty of receiving gifts and other forms of benefits, and sentenced them to six months in prison each.
At the same time, the property benefit obtained by the commission of the criminal offense is confiscated from the accused, namely a monetary amount in the amount of 100 euros, i.e. its equivalent expressed in convertible marks, which the accused are obliged to pay to the account of the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in equal parts of 50 euros each within 30 days from the date of finality of the judgment.
The defendants are accused of being officials in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as police officers of the BiH Border Police, with the aim of obtaining illegal property benefits for themselves, during the border control of passengers on the way out of Bosnia and Herzegovina from passengers who did not have a valid visa. for entering, staying or crossing the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in order to allow him to leave our country without conducting misdemeanor proceedings, demanded and received a gift, i.e. failed to sanction a person for misdemeanors and allowed him to leave Bosnia and Herzegovina without conducting misdemeanor proceedings, thereby committing a criminal the act of receiving a gift and other forms of benefit.
