The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued, on 23 January 2020, a decision confirming the following Counts of the Indictment filed in the case of Pero Radić et al. in relation to the accused Pero Radić and Vlado Ristanović and in relation to the accused Pero Radić, Božo Vidović, Petko Tomić, Dušan Spasojević, Vlado Ristanović and Milan Mijić.
The Indictment alleged, inter alia, that during the period between April and December 1992, within a widespread and systematic attack of the military, police and para-military units of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, subsequently Republika Srpska, directed against the civilian Bosniak and Croat population in the Municipality of Zvornik, being aware of the attack, and knowing that their acts formed part of the attack, as memebrs of the referenced forces, namely as members of the Territorial Defense of the Serb Municipality Zvornik – Territorial Defense Unit established in the village of Malešić, which forces were subsequently transformed in the units of the Zvornik Brigade of the Army of Srpska Republika of BiH, supported by other local units of the Territorial Defense from the territory of the Municipality of Zvornik, including the units from the places of Tršić, Tabanci and Jasenica, conscientiously, willingly and intentionally, the accused Pero Radić et al.organized, enabled, ordered, aided and abetted and committed an attack on the Bosniak civilian population on political, national and religious grounds, which resulted in depriving lives of other persons (murder), forcible relocation, forced disappearance of persons, taking persons in camps and other unlawful detentions.
