Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiHPA), Dragan Covic, held a meeting over the telephone on Monday with Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH Zorica Bukinac.

The two officials discussed the situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic with special reference to measures introduced in Bosnia and Herzegovina to counteract the negative effects of the pandemic in the areas of health, economy, education and security.

Both interlocutors emphasized urgent strengthening of health and economic capacities, as well as measures to protect the health of residents.

Two officials also commented on recent initiatives addressed to European Union leaders by Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting BiH’s deep commitment to the European path and its European partners.
