Covic openly announced that he wants a Third Entity in BiH?

Covic“BiH needs a complete reorganization in order to function normally. What the Bosniak people or the Serbian people has, and it is the majority in one part of the country, Croatian people need to have as well,” said the Member of the Presidency of BiH from the Croatian people, Dragan Covic. Covic mainly answered only as leader of the HDZ BiH, which he did not try to hide.

“Croats were constantly presenting their proposals in the manner to avoid the trap regarding the interpretation of division of BiH or secession. HDZ clearly advocates the organization of BiH with four federal units,” said Covic, adding that the civil concept of the state is not acceptable for the HDZ.

When asked why cantons are so important to Croats, Covic said that it is the only segment in which it can be said that they have been adequately represented.

“We are absolutely not adequately represented through the two entities. Cantons are very important in order to articulate voice of Croats where we have the majority,” said Covic.

He also stated that it is necessary to change the constitutional and legal framework of BiH, so now it is more than clear that Covic will not give up from the division of FBiH and he got a support from Milorad Dodik, the President of the SNSD and the RS, who said that he has nothing against the establishment of Croatian entity.

Now it is clear that Covic, with the support of Dodik, will do anything to further complicate the political situation in BiH, which is indicated by not holding the session of the Parliament of FBiH as requested by representatives of the Club of the HDZ and HNS and avoiding the meeting with the President of the SDA, Bakir Izetbegovic.
