Acting High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Louis Crishock visited the cities of Konjic, Mostar and Stolac of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, where he spoke with representatives of local communities and religious communities about the challenges that returnees face in everyday life.

As he stated in a post on platform X, the interlocutors gave him first-hand experiences and pointed out the problems that returnees face in realizing their rights and life needs.

During meetings with all participants, Crishock emphasized that equality before the law and respect for human dignity must apply to everyone, everywhere and without exception.

“Every individual deserves equal legal protection, equal economic and social opportunities and fair treatment regardless of ethnic or religious affiliation. Respecting these principles strengthens justice, promotes social trust and cohesion, and creates a society in which everyone can live with dignity and enjoy equal rights,” said Crishock.

The Acting High Representative pointed out that the talks in Konjic, Mostar and Stolac were an opportunity to directly observe local conditions and challenges, and reiterated the commitment of the international community to protect the equal rights of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
