The Portuguese national team led by Cristiano Ronaldo is coming to Zenica again after 12 years, and Klix.ba brings the details of their stay at Hotel Zenica.
The arrival of the Portuguese national team in Zenica was announced a few months ago, and the final details will be agreed today during the day. Their base, like the previous time, will be Hotel Zenica, which will be completely closed to the public for three days.
The Portuguese national team reserved the entire hotel for themselves, wanting complete peace and concentration before the match with the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and their arrival is planned for tomorrow.
Today, the police will inspect all the rooms where the team from Portugal will stay and seal them until the arrival of the guests.
Among them, as it was confirmed this morning, despite having qualified for the European Championship, will be Cristiano Ronaldo, who, as we know, had no special requests.
“We are pleased that the Portuguese national team again chose Hotel Zenica as a place to stay during their visit to Zenica. Today we had the final inspections of their team led by manager Carlos Ferrer and chef Luis Daniel Aveira. As for requests, they did not have any special wishes, and we have done everything in our power so that they are satisfied with everything we have prepared, adding that it is more than what they expected,” the executive director of Hotel Zenica, Jasmina Beganović, told Klix.ba.
Ronaldo will stay in room number 507, on the 5th floor of Hotel Zenica, which is named after him and where he stayed for the last time, all because of the number 7 on his jersey.
He takes with him his private security, which will guard him during his stay at Hotel Zenica, and additional police security will be engaged in front of the hotel and in the hotel.
The room in which Ronaldo will stay does not stand out too much from the rooms of other Portuguese national team members. A standard bed, a desk and armchairs, a toilet with a bathtub and a view towards the Kamberovića polje athletics stadium.
Hotel Zenica also has suites and a presidential suite, but that was not the request of the delegation for Ronaldo or any of the national team members.
“When we talk about the food, it will be prepared by the chefs of Hotel Zenica under the supervision of the Portuguese national team, which I still don’t know. The last time, in addition to the agreed menu, Ronaldo also asked for vegetable soup and a larger amount of ice,” they added.
The hotel management said that they will do everything to make the stay of the Portugal selection at Hotel Zenica as pleasant as possible.
