Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic leads the delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to participate in the Summit on Western Balkans held on 4th and 5th July 2019 in Poznań, Poland.

The summit under the Berlin Process will discuss the Agenda of Connections, Economy, Civil Society, Security, progress in resolving open bilateral issues, the achievements of the Berlin Process and the future goals of the Western Balkan countries.

The Delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Summit in Poznan, next to the chairman of Zvizdic, is made up of Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Sarovic and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Igor Crnadak.

The Western Balkans Summit Poznań 2019 will take place on July 3-5 at the Poznań International Fair. Ministers of foreign affairs, internal affairs, and economy will convene on July 4. A Leaders’ Summit will take place on July 5 – heads of states and governments of partners to the Berlin Process will discuss key issues concerning Western Balkans.

These top-level meetings will be complemented by three events: an expert Think Tank Forum; Civil Society Forum – a platform for experience exchange and cooperation aimed at NGOs; as well as a Business forum, whose aim will be to help entrepreneurs make connections and deepen professional knowledge.

These events prove an excellent fit with the priorities of Polish presidency of the Berlin Process, an initiative initiated by Germany which connects partners from Western Balkans and some Member States of the European Union. The Polish presidency’s priorities are: economy, connectivity, civil society and security.
