BiH Minister of Defence Zekerijah Osmić and BiH Deputy Minister of Defence Mirko Okolić met with the ambassador of Croatia in BiH Tonči Staničić and military representative of Croatia for BiH, colonel Božo Vukasović.

Osmić introduced the guests with the current activities of the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces of BiH and the challenges they are facing.

They talked about getting NATO’s Membership Action Plan, about the relations in the institutions of BiH and international organisation, and about the participation of AF BiH in NATO and UN missions.

Staničić said that Croatia intends to continue and expand the cooperation between two countries, and added that Croatia supported the giving of MAP to BiH, and it will continue to represent the interests of BiH on its path towards Euro-Atlantic integration.

Colonel Vukasović said that the defence cooperation between two countries is very good, and that during his mandate he’ll try to continue the successful cooperation with the defence institutions in BiH, especially on the training and joint action in the UN lead ISAF missions.
