Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman stated that Croatia supports everything that political leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina agree on and that they respect the principles contained in the Dayton Agreement, Fena news agency writes.

He said this today answering questions from journalists about changes to the BiH Election Law, after a meeting with BiH Foreign Minister Bisera Turković.

Radman argues that political rights, equality and the elimination of all forms of discrimination in the electoral process are necessary in order to achieve political legitimacy.

“We support everything that political leaders agree on. Croatia is interested in the satisfaction and stability of BiH, which is also the guarantor of the European path,” he stressed.

If Croatia were to be asked, he added, BiH would already be in the European Union and there is no doubt about that.

“BiH’s membership in the EU would contribute to stability,” concluded the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman.
