Young girl Klara Primorac, who is originally from Herzegovina and lives with her family in Essen, invited the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic to celebrate her eighth birthday. The President was not able to attend her birthday celebration but she sent her a reply in a letter.
Klara, who is originally from the village of Radisici in the Municipality of Ljubuski, attended the match between Croatia and Kazakhstan with her family at the invitation of her godfather, tennis player Ivan Dodig.
After that, at the invitation of the advisor of the president, Tomislav Madzar, she visited President Kitarovic-Grabar on Pantovcak together with other Croatian emigrants, and she handed over the invitation for birthday celebration in Herzegovina to the president on this occasion.
Klara celebrated her birthday on July 30, and the President of Croatia, who could not come because of her obligations, surprised this girl with a letter. She thanked her for the invitation and explained that she can not attend her celebration because of numerous obligations.
“I would like to congratulate you. I wish you good health, a lot of happiness and joy and I hope you will have a great birthday celebration with your family. I wish you a lot of fun during the summer and beautiful memories on these carefree days of your childhood. Happy birthday, your Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic,” as written in the letter.
