Croatia’s Outstanding Bills Rise by €7.3 Million Since Last Friday

The number of invoices issued in retail trade in Croatia on Friday was 25 percent higher than last Friday, when the boycott was also implemented, and the total amount of invoices issued was 37 percent higher.

These are data from the Croatian Tax Administration, which, however, states that compared to Friday, January 17, when there was no boycott, the number of invoices is 15 percent lower, and the amount is 20 percent lower.

In the activity “Retail trade, except trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles”, on Friday, February 7, until 3 p.m., the total number of fiscalized invoices was 1,971,885, and the amount of invoices was 27,389,412.09 euros, the Tax Administration announced on Friday.

Last Friday, January 31, when the store boycott was also implemented, the total number of fiscalized accounts until 3 p.m. was 1,581,005, and the amount of accounts was 20,009,818.61 euros, and on Friday, January 24, the number of accounts was 1,336,680, and the amount was 17,379,990.37 euros.

On Friday, January 17, when there was no boycott, the total number of fiscalized invoices by 3 pm was 2,306,785 invoices, and the amount of invoices was 34,352,545.27 euros.

“The data shows that the number of bills on Friday, February 7 compared to Friday, January 31 is 25 percent higher, while the amount of bills is also higher by 37 percent. Today, compared to Friday, January 24, the number of bills is higher by 48 percent, while the amount of bills is also higher by 58 percent. Compared to Friday, January 17, the day when there was no store boycott, the number of bills is lower by 15 percent, while the amount of bills is also lower by 20 percent”, according to the Tax Administration.

At the same time, the total number of fiscalized accounts (trade, catering and other services) on this day was 4,150,185, and the amount was 63,940,556.64 euros.

Last Friday, January 31, the total number of fiscalized accounts was 3,576,698 accounts, and the amount of the accounts was EUR 54,420,755.02, while on Friday, January 24, the total number of fiscalized accounts was 3,221,643 accounts, and the amount of the accounts was EUR 49,191,043.01.

On Friday, January 17, when there was no boycott, the total number of fiscalized invoices by 3 pm was 4,544,994 invoices, and the amount of invoices was 70,903,098.92 euros.

“The data shows that the number of accounts today is 16 percent higher than on Friday, January 31, and the amount of accounts is 17 percent higher. Compared to Friday, January 24, the number of accounts is 29 percent higher, while the amount of accounts is also higher by 30 percent. Compared to Friday, January 17, the day when there was no store boycott, the number of accounts is 9 percent lower, while the amount of bills is also lower by 10 percent,” he states.
