Cultural Manifestation “Andrić’s Days”: Travnička Hronika

kulturna-manifestacija-andricevi-dani-tragovima-travnicke-hronike_1414227321At the Homeland museum of Travnik e.g. at the Memorial museum “Birth house of Ivo Andrić”, in the room dedicated to the novel “Travnička hronika” the following items are exhibited: facsimiles of manuscripts and the first edition of the novel (Belgrade, 1945), facsimiles of reports by the French and Austrian general consulate in Travnik, portraits of the French general consul Pierre David and of Derviš-beg Teskeredžić as characters in the novel, old photos and drawings of the city at the time of the novel’s action and various local and foreign editions of “Travnička hronika”. Entitled by this novel’s title, today was held a public touristic tour which presented the offer of the Homeland museum of Travnik.
