BiH Presidency member Željka Cvijanović met in Washington with Howard Lutnick, US Secretary of the Economy in Donald Trump’s administration.

Cvijanović pointed out the importance of implementing joint energy projects, such as the Southern Interconnection, which will open up space for further American investments in the field of energy and infrastructure.

This is Cvijanović’s second meeting with Lutnick in the last year. This time, she also expressed her satisfaction with the increasing interest of American companies in, as she said, investing in the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, pointing out that this is a consequence of the positive turn of President Trump’s administration towards the economy, cooperation and shared prosperity with other countries.
