Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Vice President of SNSD, Zeljka Cvijanovic, stated yesterday that if extraordinary elections for the President of the Republika Srpska(RS) are held, the authorities of this entity want United States (U.S.)observers to be present.
“To help prevent manipulations like those experienced by their president (Donald Trump) in the penultimate presidential elections,” Cvijanovic wrote on the social network X.
If these “imposed and completely unnecessary elections are held,” she added, it will be a “vote against the illegal unilateral impositions (of High Representative) Christian Schmidt and the continuation of the globalist agenda, through which globalists and experimentalists have captured and paralyzed BiH.”
“Meaning, it will only be a continuation of RS‘s fight for freedom, in which we will defeat them, even if we have to play by their rules,” Cvijanovic stated.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH scheduled extraordinary presidential elections for November 23rd, after the previous President of RS, Milorad Dodik, was definitively sentenced to one year in prison and six years of prohibition from holding public office.
Dodik accepted the verdict and stepped down from the position, and his long-time advisor Ana Trisic Babic was appointed as acting President of RS.
