The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Dragan Lukac, said that the person who attacked and damaged the official vehicle of the Cabinet of the President of the RS, Zeljka Cvijanovic, has been identified in Mostar.
He stated that the person, who was identified by the police of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, was previously known to the police authorities, and that he will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
Lukac told journalists in Banja Luka that an unknown person blocked the way of the official car, got out of the vehicle and broke the steering wheel.
He added that the vehicle that was attacked was not accompanying the President of the RS, Zeljka Cvijanovic, that is, it was not a convoy of vehicles.
“It is a car that is normally used to accompany the president of the RS, but this time it drove independently, under rotation, much earlier to the place where the president is supposed to arrive,” explained Lukac.
