Zeljka Cvijanovic, Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), held talks with the EUFOR Commander in BiH, Major General Laszlo Sticz, as part of his farewell visit.

The current security situation was assessed as stable, with an emphasis that the challenges are political rather than security-related. The handover ceremony for the EUFOR Command will take place on Tuesday at the Butmir base.

The ceremony will also be attended by the Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation and Special Representative in BiH, Ambassador Luigi Soreca, and the Operational Commander of Operation Althea in BiH.
