Cvijanovic to Central Election Commission: There will be 100.000 of us at your Door

The President of Republika Srpska (RS) and Vice-President of SNSD Zeljka Cvijanovic addressed the crowd on Tuesday nightgathered at Krajina Square in Banja Luka at the ”Otadzbina zove” rally.

At the beginning of her speech, Cvijanovic said that the will of the people of RS was demonstrated at the last General Elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on October 2nd.

”Dear friends, everyone gathered. We had elections on October 2nd, and there we showed what the will of the people is. And then the illegal Central Election Commission (CEC) decided to put aside those who were legally elected and work according to the instructions of the opposition. The people elected Milorad Dodik and Zeljka Cijanovic. Let’s tell the illegal CEC that if there are 50.000 of us here, 100.000 will be at your door,”Cvijanovic stated.

She stressed that this is the first time that the votes are counted and ”they were counted for the second time in Sarajevo because the losing opposition requested it”.

”They will lose every time because they are not up to the task. Let’s protect what the RS gave us, the right to life, to be elected, and to choose, the way we want it, not the way we decide in the embassies. We are looking for what we chose in the democratic elections, everything after that was staged manipulation, but our citizens know that this is so. This is one of the turning points in history when we show that we will live the way we want,” she pointed out.

Cvijanovic also said that citizens will gather as long as it is necessary.

”We chose ours and we stand behind what we chose. Finally, let me say that we do not want to live in a state that suffocates us, mistreats us, and steals our will to vote. The one that is honest and fair, in which we can be ourselves on our own, is not a problem for anyone. Tonight we are defending what our people chose on October 2nd. We will return the processes from the CEC to our hands and make our own legislation, the way the constitution envisioned it,” Cvijanovic emphasized two nights ago.

Cvijanovic stated that on October 2nd, it was said where ”the will of the people resides” and that the BiH entity RS is “a republic that wants to nurture that will”.

”Milorad Dodik is the president because the people said so, not these manipulators. We have the right to plan our future and the lives of our children. Long live Milorad Dodik and long live RS,” Cvijanovic concluded.
