cyCyclists of the club “Japod” from Bihac arrived last night at the cemetery Kovaci within the Second Cycling Marathon “Alija Izetbegović” which they have organized at the route from Bihac to Sarajevo on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the death of the first President of B&H.

The secretary of the club Semsudin Dizdarevic said that 15 members departed from Bihac on Saturday, October 17th, and that he hopes the marathon will become a tradition.

Dizdarevic added that they cycled the first stage from Bihac to Jajce and the second from Jajce to Sarajevo, and that the weather was in their favor except during departure, because it was raining when they departed.

Dizdarevic noted that each time they come to the graveside of Alija Izetbegovic they feel genuine love for the first President of B&H, “because he lived, worked, and died for unique Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his greatness is reflected in him being the president of all BH peoples”.
