D.Majkić held a meeting with Commander of EUFOR in BiH

President of BiH Joint Commission for Defence and Security Dušanka Majkić held a meeting with commander of EUFOR in BIH, general Dieter Heidecker.

General Heidecker acquainted Majkić about the EUFOR mission in 2013, with special focus on activities that will be realized with Armed Forces of BiH.

During the meeting they exchanged views on the state of the defence and security of BiH and the activities of the BiH Joint Commission for Defence and Security related to parliamentary oversight.

General Heidecker announced the visit of operational commander of EUFOR, general Richard Shirref, in the first half of February which will present the opportunity to talk about significant defence issues.

They agreed to continue the practice of mutual encounters and exchanges of views in order to fulfil a number of obligations that are before the armed forces, said the Department of Public Relations of the Joint Commission for Defence and Security of BiH.
