Day of the RS celebrated in Banja Luka (video)

parade-day-of-rsAt 1 pm on the Square of Krajina in Banja Luka, a parade was held on the occasion of the celebration of the unconstitutional Day of the RS. Participants in the parade were members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS, Civil Protection, firefighters, and others.

Hundreds of participants in the parade could be seen in the Kralja Petra Karađorđevića Street. The parade was held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Republika Srpska. The parade was accompanied by the sounds of the March on the Drina.

In the Petar Kočić Park, the participants passed by the representatives of RS authorities, President of RS Milorad Dodik, member of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanić, and others.

Along the main road in Banja Luka, many citizens were standing, waiting to watch and support the parade organized on the occasion of the Day of the RS, which was declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of BiH.

Rehearsal of the parade was held yesterday. Central part of the event today is the solemn academy in which the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić participates as well.

Earlier today, members of the Third Infantry Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH were lined up at the square in Banja Luka. Their participation was approved by the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanić.
