2Days of Architecture present of the biggest events in the area of architecture in BIH. It is designed as an annual, several days long event that includes various lectures by international and domestic speakers, exhibitions, film projections, etc…

This year’s, sixth annual Days of Architecture will be held from 16-19 may 2013 in many locations, one of which is Art Kino Kriterion, where this manifestation will open on 16 May at 20:00.

This year’s theme is common area. According to a general definition, a common area is a space available for the use by a larger number of people. In buildings, common areas are areas that can be used by all occupants, but to which they also have obligations. The quality of these spaces presents a clear reflection of the awareness of users.

‘’We do not want to only ask the big questions and to be assured that we would make our environment better. We wish to show the modern approach to architecture and the active participation of citizens, a space that could truly be common’’, said the organizers.

The organizer of Days of Architecture is the nonprofit organization LIFT-a space imitative that consists of young architects and students. The main objective is to encourage discussion about space and direct operations in this area, and it is carried out through the organization of lectures, meetings, exhibitions and workshops, as well as the production of various spatial interventions. The area of operation is in the intersection between the architectural profession and citizenship.

Days of Architecture are being held for the fifth year in a row with over 50 lecturers from 17 countries, and it will feature numerous exhibitions.

Entrance to all events part of the program is free.
