“Days of Olive Harvest in Herzegovina” is the name of the event that will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 24th and 25th, organized by the Tourist Board of Neum and the Municipality of Neum.

As announced, in the Dubrava economic zone, near the Oil Mill, a rich cultural, entertainment, and gastronomic program will be held, beginning with a presentation on olive picking.

From 4 p.m., the program includes a presentation of olive oil production and the promotion of the brand “Golden Drops of Herzegovina,” and from 6 p.m., on both evenings, the entertainment part of the event begins.

Along with olives and olive oil, visitors will be able to taste food and drinks from the Neum region, and the atmosphere will be enhanced by the vocal group “Koluri.”

Olive growing is one of the leading agricultural branches in the municipality of Neum. The very geographical position of the municipality is by the sea, and the climate is ideal for olive cultivation, so olives have been planted and cultivated in Neum since ancient times, and even century-old olive groves are not rare here.
