The Arrival of Ursula von der Leyen is a boost to reform Processes in BiH

The members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed their satisfaction with the visit of the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, assessing her arrival as a confirmation of the strong and continuous support of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, and an additional incentive for reform processes on the path to EU membership.

During the meeting, the interlocutors welcomed the submission of the Reform Agenda within the Growth Plan for Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that this document represents a significant step forward in the process of European integration and further economic consolidation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, welcomed the efforts and evident progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina in implementing reforms. She emphasized that the European Union remains a strong and reliable partner on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path and its gradual accession to the single European market, which will directly affect the country’s economic development and progress.

The members of the Presidency of BiH once again confirmed their firm commitment to strengthening Bosnia and Herzegovina’s partnership with the European Union and their commitment to fulfilling the next steps aimed at withdrawing funds and implementing the Growth Plan. They expressed their gratitude to President Von der Leyen for the support and encouragement given to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the occasion of the progress and continued engagement of our country on the European path, the Presidency of BiH announced.
