The “Days of Vienna” will be held in Sarajevo from July 2 to 4, 2018, in the organization of the City of Vienna and the City of Sarajevo and the representative office of Eurocomm-PR Sarajevo.
This is a manifestation that will bring the spirit of Vienna’s summer to Sarajevo, as well as innovative projects for which Vienna has been declared as the city with the highest quality of life in the world for the ninth time.
The City of Vienna offers its great experiences and knowledge in the form of positive practices on the international scene. Therefore, it is coming to Sarajevo for the third time to continue the existing constructive dialogue.
The opening of the “Days of Vienna” that will take place on July 2, 2018, will bring the atmosphere of Donauinself, the largest open-air music festival in Europe. This year’s winner DJ Febration will show why he was named as a young musical hope in Austria on this ocassion.
A two-day conference in the Hotel Europe will be the main part of the event “Days of Vienna”, where experts from these two cities will exchange their experiences from the field of innovative projects of smart planning, i.e. smart city strategies, urban mobility, water, energy, innovation and smart solutions in the work of local self-government units.
Handover of a fire truck from the Fire Brigade of Vienna to the Fire Brigade Alipasin Bridge will take place as well. This represents the continuation of more than ten years long cooperation between the Fire Brigade of Vienna and the Fire Department of Canton Sarajevo.
