Days of Palestinian Culture in Collegium Artisticum

b_161116099Center for Balkan and Middle East Studies is organizing the event “Days of Palestinian Culture” in Collegium Artisticum from November 21 until November 24.

Official opening of the event will be held on November 21 at 5 pm and it will include exhibitions of paintings, panel discussions and screenings of documentaries.

Among other things, visitors will have the opportunity to see the exhibition “Palestine – story and color”, to attend the panel discussion on the position of Palestinians in BiH, the Palestinian issue on the BiH media and political scene, about what Bosniaks can learn from Palestine, and links between Bosnia in the west and Palestine in the east.

The program will be held from 2 pm until 8 pm. There is also a competition for the best painting, literary work and overview of one of the panel discussions. Works can be submitted via mail until December 15 in the premises of the Center, at the address Olimpijska Street 30 Sarajevo. Valuable prizes are provided for the best works and results will be published on January 15, 2017.
