Dea Herdzelas sportsport.baTwo of the best BH tennis players Dea Herdzelas and Jelena Simic played a great finale yesterday at the ITF Challenger in Tunis, worth 10.000 US Dollars.

For a long time it seemed that the 23-year-old Simic will continue the unbeaten run that started a week before the last, but the 18-year-old Herdzelas managed to successfully end the tiebreak of the second set and thus, as it turned out, definitely turn the flow of the match.

After full 166 minutes the score was 3:6, 7:6 (6), 6:3 in favour of the player from Sarajevo, who thus achieved the first single title in 2015 and the third one in her career, which will push her to the new record of the career at the WTA rankings as of August 24th, i.e. up for about 50 positions as compared to the current 401st position.

Jelena will also tangibly improve her previous best ranking – for about 70 positions, and she will take around 480th position.
