RS referendum

President of Republic Srpska, Milorad Dodik, told delegates that the precise date of the referendum was not determined, due to the fact that the representatives of the Bosniak people will most likely call on the vital national interest in The Council of Nations of the Republic Srpska.

Ramiz Salkic, the vice president of the entity RS, said that Bosniak politicians in RS will surely slow down the process of organizing a referendum, but also said that he is sure that the RS Constitutional Court that does not operate in the accordance with the Constitution and laws, will decide that there was no violation of the national interest.

Representatives of the Serbian people said yesterday that decisions of the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H are biased and directed against the Serbian population.

Dodik added that the Prosecutor’s Office of B&H is under the direct influence of SDA and that the High Representative created a new judicial system in B&H with imposed laws, that is functioning in the opposition with the rule of the law.

He openly invited citizens of RS to sue the high representatives in countries which they come from, announcing that RS will even enable funds from the budget for providing legal aid to those who were affected by the high representatives.

He said that RS has no hidden intentions in the referendum, and that this decision will not affect territorial integrity and sovereignty.
