Zvizdic Schulz meeting

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H, Denis Zvizdic, hosted yesterday in Sarajevo the president of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, with whom he talked about the current economic and political situation in B&H.

Chairman Zvizdic introduced president Schulz to activities of the Council of Ministers on accelerating the European path of B&H. He emphasized that the reform agenda was already adopted, and that the Council of ministers adopted the Indicative transport policies of B&H for the period from 2015 to 2030 at yesterday’s session, by which they want to create an economic and effective transport system in accordance with the EU standards and WTO rules, which would create a possibility for B&H for the financing of  infrastructure projects through IPA funds.

President Schulz said that B&H is a part of Europe and that its place is in the EU. He emphasized that the EU is dedicated to the stability of B&H, as a base for the stability of the region, through economic growth and the employment of youth.

Chairman Zvizdic emphasized that the Council of Ministers stay dedicated to the EU integrations, development of the economy, the rule of law and as soon as possible activation of the MAP for NATO.

“Our priorities are economic development and the employment of youth, and we understand that without stability and security, there is no qualitative economic development. B&H more than ever needs peace and regional cooperation“, said Zvizdic.
