house of peoplesThe House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) adopted the Decision on temporary financing of FBiH for the period January – March 2015 in the continuation of the Constitutive Session.

Thus this decision, approved recently by the House of Representatives, can take effect and is extremely important, since it prevents a delay of financial flows in the Federation and payment of budget users in a situation where the entity budget for this year was not adopted until the last day of 2014.

The decision stipulates the amount of 421,823,778 BAM for temporary financing in the first three months of 2015.

According to the explanation of the relevant Finance Minister Ante Krajina, 1,363,584 BAM will be allocated for the current reserve of the Government and the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of FBiH; 48,884,772 BAM will be allocated for gross salaries and benefits for employees; 5,365,488 BAM will be allocated for employer’s contributions and other contributions; 10,413,528 BAM for expenditures for material, small tools and services; 189,406,599 BAM for current transfers and other current expenditures; 14,879,871 BAM for expenditures for interest; 305,332 BAM for purchase of fixed assets and 151,204,604 BAM for the repayment of debt.

Delegates of the House of Peoples approved the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Budgets in FBiH, whose proponents were the caucuses of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) and the Democratic Front (DF) in the House of Representatives.

This act enabled making a decision on the temporary financing of the budget of the City of Mostar for 2015 which will be made by the mayor with the consent of the Chief of Finance.
