Delegation of B&H Ministry of Defense Visited USA

vojska-bihThe Minister of Defense of B&H Zekerijah Osmić is leading a delegation of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of B&H, which will be in the USA from 31 March to 5 April. They will hold bilateral defense consultations and discussions with high-ranking officials of the USA.

The delegation of the B&H Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces will speak with high officials of the US Administration in the State Department, Pentagon and US Congress, and Minister Osmić will give a presentation to the Atlantic Council of the USA called ‘Reform of Defense, Successes of Ministry of Defense and B&H Armed Forces, Path Towards Membership to NATO’.

Minister Osmić will talk with high-ranking officials of the US administration on defense cooperation between B&H and the USA, realization of the program led by the Ministry of Defense and B&H Armed Forces, and on the current activities of defense institutions of B&H that are being realized on the way to Euro-Atlantic integration.

Also, during the stay in the USA, there is a planned visit to the Embassy of B&H in Washington, and a visit to the National Guard Maryland, where the B&H delegation will speak with the Commander of the National Guard Maryland on the topic strengthening the State Partnership Program and expansion of bilateral cooperation between Maryland and B&H in the civil sector.
