USA visitA delegation of the economic office of the US Embassy visited Sarajevo City Center (SCC) together with representatives of investors, head architects and representatives of the general contractor.

During the visit of the delegation, they met with the international administration of SCC, whose members are experts who gained experience in the USA, Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia and B&H.

Currently, 95 percent of the space of SCC Shopping Center is leased, and SCC is in negotiations with two large companies, a US pharmaceutical and a Spanish company for manufacturing of textiles, both of which are interested in renting an office tower.

Also, SCC is in intensive discussions with Interstate Hotels and Resorts, the leading operator of world-renowned hotel chains such as IHG, Hilton, Starwood, Marriot and Hyatt, which currently manage more than 40 units of well-known brands. SCC is designed based on the highest standards of construction, which had the engagement of a significant number of people. It is assessed that SCC will offer more than 1.500 permanent direct jobs and a large number of indirect ones.

Representatives of the USA Embassy pointed out that the development of SCC would attract much attention to the hotel industry in B&H.
