Last year, thermal power plant Gacko produced 1,415 GWh of electricity, which is 99% of the plan, and used 2,125,470 tons of coal, said the head of the company Maksim Skoko.
He said that in 2012, the overhaul of the power plant was finished and the power plant is in good shape.
Skoko notes that thermal power plant is currently stable, and that coal reserves are about 180,000 tons, which is enough for three weeks of electricity production.
He pointed out that this year’s production plan of 1646 GWh of electricity is the most ambitious in the thirty years work of the power plant.
