Denis Sadiković (35) from Sarajevo, who was serving a sentence for raping a girl, was killed in the Mostar prison on Saturday, Klix.ba has learned.

While he was in the toilet, he was stabbed in the neck by another prisoner with the initials A. Š. (37) from Mostar.

Sadiković was transferred by ambulance to CUM Mostar, where he died from his injuries.

By the judgment of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo from 2021, Sadiković was sentenced to three years and six months in prison for the rape and unlawful deprivation of liberty of his girlfriend M. Š.

After the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina partially accepted the appeal of the CS Prosecutor’s Office, the judgment of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo was changed in the decision on punishment.

Thus, Sadiković was sentenced to four years in prison for the criminal offense of rape, and to six months of unlawful deprivation of liberty for the criminal offense.
