Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Staša Košarac, said that next week he will request a meeting with the leadership of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to, as he stated, the untrue and speculative allegations of Defense Minister Zukan Helez.
“Helez says he has intelligence that the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik is planning to escape?! A notorious lie… If it weren’t sad, it wouldn’t even be funny. What kind of information is Helez referring to – is it information from some para-intelligence institutions in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina or some parastructures in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina? In any case, the data is not true,” Košarac said.
He asked “how is it even possible for anyone, let alone the defense minister, to refer to quasi-intelligence data in public?”
“Of course, this is possible in Bosnia and Herzegovina if, like Helez, your goal is to discredit the institutions of Republika Srpska and target its president,” Košarac wrote on the Instagram social network.
Let us remind you that BiH Defense Minister Zukan Helez, guesting on BHRT’s BHT1 live show, said that the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik was preparing to escape and that there was intelligence about it.
Dodik himself reacted to his statement, stating that Helez is “violating all possible regulations and trying to impose the BiH he wants”, and that the BiH Presidency is the only one competent to deal with defense issues.
