The Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury Edita Đapo received the Ambassador of Japan yesterday Hide Jamazaki.
They spoke about the good bilateral relations between Japan and BiH, and said that is necessary to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
The Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH thanked Japan’s long-time support, because this country has the second highest donations invested in over 200 projects in reconstruction in the post-war period in BiH.
Ambassador Jamazaki said that Japan will continue to support BiH, especially in the process of demining, as well as in the field of sustainable return through projects of support in the development of small and medium enterprises.
They expressed their satisfaction with the successful completion of the realization of the project in ‘’Teremoelektrani Ugljevik’’, which is financed with Japanese grants, and said that there is a need to create conditions for Japanese companies to invest in BiH and the region.
It was said at the conference that there is successful cooperation between BiH and Japan in the field of culture and education, where NGO’s also play a crucial role.
